Hungry Pig Point Shop Tier List
Rank every major Points purchase for escapes, steals, and boss support.
This Hungry Pig Point shop tier list ranks the free-currency arsenal you unlock by stealing food and surviving chases. Points display at the top of the HUD; your steal count sits bottom-left. Spend deliberately—bad buys slow the loop more than tough animals do.
Rankings assume public servers, fair play, and access to free WASP wings. Pair this page with the Shop Guide and Shop Priority checklist. Premium Robux gear lives on Premium Items.
S tier — buy these early
Banana peel
The poster-child escape tool. Drop peels on tight paths so pigs and other chasers trip while you sprint (Left Shift on PC). Low complexity, huge save rate after a platter steal. First Points should often go here.
Spider webs
Area denial that punishes animals funneling through doorways or bridge chokepoints. Excellent when you already know glowing letter routes from the Animals guide. Webs turn map knowledge into free distance.
Taser
Short stun windows let you break line of sight, portal away, or finish another steal. Shines when multiple animals aggro and peels alone are not enough.
A tier — strong core upgrades
Handgun (500 Points)
The community’s price landmark. At 500 Points, the handgun rewards players who can complete several clean steals without dying. Useful for softening chasers and contributing during boss fights alongside free boss weapons. Do not rush it before you own at least one S-tier escape tool.
Ice gun
Slows or freezes pressure so sprint + wings can finish the job. Pairs well with webs. Slightly more aim demand than peels, which is why it sits just under pure panic buttons.
Med kits
Boss hits are still one-shots, but med kits stabilize chip damage from chaotic mid-map fights and failed peels. Carry one once your escape kit exists.
Ghost speed
Burst mobility when wings are on cooldown-like timing or when you need a straight-line break across open ground. Not a replacement for learning sprint discipline on Controls.
B tier — situational winners
Portals
Fantastic for planned routes and regrouping before the ~10-minute boss. Weaker if you panic-place them with animals already on your heels. Practice placement during calm Moments between steals.
Grow / shrink potions
Creative traversal and hitbox tricks. Shrink helps slip cover; grow can block or confuse paths. High skill expression, inconsistent for brand-new players still reading Getting Started.
Hammer
Close-range disruption that rewards aggressive players who steal and turn to fight briefly. Risky against packs—better as a supplement than a first buy.
Boogie bomb
Chaos tool for stacked chasers or crowded objectives. Fun in full lobbies; less efficient when you are solo farming markers.
C tier — flex, niche, or late
Trowel
Building cover or breaking sightlines can work near houses and vertical props (handy thinking ahead of boss angles). Overall slower value than peels/webs for most chase deaths.
Duplicate novelty copies
Stacking five low-impact gag items before a handgun or med kit is the classic Points trap. Buy one fun item after your A-tier backbone exists—not before.

Suggested purchase order
- Banana peel (or webs if you already path through chokepoints)
- Second control tool (taser or ice gun)
- Handgun at 500 Points
- Med kit + ghost speed
- Portals / potions for route tech
- Hammer, boogie, trowel as spice
During boss spawns, stop shopping: grab the free boss weapon, group up, and fire. Point shop DPS is bonus, not a substitute for server focus—see How to Beat the Boss.
Synergies that raise tiers in practice
- Peel + wings: trip, then fly the gap.
- Web + ice: lock a corridor, walk away.
- Portal + handgun: relocate, shoot, relocate.
- Shrink + trowel: micro cover plays near houses.
Stealing fundamentals still outrank gear. If you die before spending Points, study How to Steal Food before grinding another shop sweep.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is S tier in the Hungry Pig Point shop?
Banana peels, spider webs, and tasers lead for raw escape value after steals in typical public lobbies.
Should I buy the handgun before banana peels?
Usually no. Secure an escape tool first, then save toward the 500-Point handgun.
Do med kits save you from the boss?
No. Boss hits are one-shot kills. Med kits help with non-boss damage and messy chase chip.
Are portals worth buying?
Yes once you can place them calmly. They are B tier because panic portals under aggro waste their value.
Where should I spend Points first overall?
Follow this tier list plus the Shop Priority checklist for a step-by-step buy path.
