Hungry Pig Shop Guide

Point shelf vs Premium shelf—what to buy, when, and why.

Hungry Pig Shop Guide

Hungry Pig runs on two cashiers: the Point shop fed by food steals, and the Premium shop fed by Robux. This shop guide explains both shelves, calls out signature items, and ties purchases to real chase problems so you stop impulse-buying junk mid-lobby.

For ranked lists, use Point Shop Tier List and Premium Items Tier List. For a checklist UI-style path, open Shop Priority.

How currency works

  • Points climb as you steal food and survive—tracked at the top HUD.
  • Steal counter (bottom-left) is not spending money; it measures platter success.
  • Robux buys Premium items only.
  • After Premium purchases, rejoin Hungry Pig to receive the item.
  • Codes are not a third currency today—the Codes Hub has no active strings.

Point shop catalog (player-facing essentials)

Escape & control

  • Banana peel — trip chasers; best-known starter save
  • Spider webs — choke-point denial
  • Taser — stun window to break aggro
  • Ice gun — slow/freeze pressure
  • Boogie bomb — chaotic AoE distraction

Guns & melee

  • Handgun (500 Points) — landmark firearm price; mid-run DPS staple
  • Hammer — close disruption when you dare to turn and fight briefly

Body & mobility

  • Med kits — non-boss recovery
  • Ghost speed — burst movement
  • Grow / shrink potions — creative traversal and hitbox plays
  • Portals — reposition across the map
  • Trowel — cover / sightline tools

Exact stock can expand with updates—verify in-game and skim Patch Notes.

Point shop strategy

  1. Buy one S-tier escape tool before anything flashy.
  2. Add a second control option (web/taser/ice).
  3. Save for the handgun at 500 Points once escapes feel stable.
  4. Slot med kits and ghost speed.
  5. Experiment with portals/potions/hammer/boogie/trowel.

Never empty your Points on five novelty items while still dying to the first pig after a steal. Movement basics live on Controls and How to Steal Food.

Premium shop essentials

Minigun

Headline Robux DPS. shreds chase pressure and boosts boss chip when the server already focuses fire. Still requires not standing still in a one-shot telegraph.

Become a pig

Transformation / identity perk with huge meme energy. Buy for fun lobbies after your Point backbone exists.

Other Premium power spikes

Treat extra paid weapons as luxuries. Rejoin after every purchase. Details ranked on Premium Items.

Rejoin rule (read twice)

Players constantly think Premium is “broken” when the item does not appear instantly. Leave the server and join again. Point shop buys are more immediate; Premium delivery expects a refresh. This is separate from WASP wings, which also need group + like + rejoin—see WASP Wings.

Boss versus shopping

During the ~10-minute boss (How to Beat the Boss):

  • Stop browsing shelves
  • Grab the free boss weapon
  • Shoot with everyone
  • Shop again after the kill

Your minigun does not excuse skipping free guns or hiding in the catalog UI.

Sample budgets

Brand-new (0–500 Points)

Peel or webs → maybe taser → hold for handgun.

Mid (500–1500 Points)

Handgun owned → med kit → ghost speed → portal experiments.

Stocked + optional Robux

Full control kit → Premium minigun → rejoin → flex become-a-pig with friends.

Shop etiquette in 15-player servers

  • Do not AFK in the shop doorway during boss spawns
  • Do not spam trade-like chat for “free minigun scripts”—read Scripts Hub instead of scams
  • Share peel tips, not account logins
