Hungry Pig Item Tier Lists

Welcome to the Hungry Pig tier list hub. Rankings here focus on what actually keeps you alive after a food steal: peel tools, guns, potions, traps, mobility, and Premium power spikes. Hungry Pig is not a character gacha—your “build” is the kit you buy with Points or Robux, then use while pigs, bunnies, alligators, giraffes, and other monsters try to end the run.

Ranking criteria

We score items for public servers (up to 15 players) with these weights:

1. Escape value after a steal (how often it saves a death)
2. Boss value during the ~10-minute one-hit boss window
3. Points efficiency (power per Point spent)
4. Ease of use on PC, Mobile, and Console after sprint fixes
5. Synergy with WASP wings, portals, and team play

Premium items are ranked separately because Robux cost and the mandatory rejoin after purchase change the decision.

Tier meanings

Tier	Meaning
S	Buy early or prioritize; wins chases often
A	Excellent once basics exist; strong niche
B	Playable, situational, or map-dependent
C	Fun / flex / low impact for most lobbies

Point shop overview

The Point shop is your main progression. Highlighted tools players discuss constantly include:

• Banana peel — trip chasers and create space
• Handgun (500 Points) — reliable mid-cost firearm benchmark
• Hammer — close-range disruption
• Taser — stun windows for escapes
• Grow / shrink potions — hitbox and traversal tricks
• Ice gun — slow or freeze pressure
• Spider webs — area denial on chase paths
• Med kits — recover after chip damage outside boss one-shots
• Ghost speed — burst mobility
• Portals — reposition across the map
• Boogie bomb — chaotic crowd control
• Trowel — build cover or break line of sight

Premium / Robux shop overview

Premium shelves hold spike items such as the minigun and utility fantasies like become a pig. They can dominate a lobby, but only after you rejoin and only if you still understand fair chase fundamentals. Ranking notes: Premium Items Tier List.

Never skip free WASP wings just because you plan to spend Robux—the wings remain one of the best mobility unlocks in the game.

How meta shifts

Hungry Pig receives quality-of-life and animal updates (family pigs, sprint control fixes across Mobile/PC/Console, and more). When patch notes land on the Updates Hub, we revisit whether ice control still outranks peels, whether the handgun’s 500-Point price stays the sweet spot, and whether Premium miniguns overshadow free boss weapons.

Boss loadouts deserve a special mention: during the event, the game gives free weapons and expects everyone to shoot. Owning a fancy Point shop gun helps, but showing up and firing with the squad matters more—see How to Beat the Boss.

Beginner buy path (summary)

1. Survive first steals with movement alone (Getting Started, How to Steal Food).
2. Purchase a top escape tool (often peel / web / stun—confirm on the Point list).
3. Add the handgun when you hit 500 Points comfortably.
4. Slot med kits or potions before novelty flex items.
5. Consider Premium only after you know the map’s glowing markers cold.
